If pet expenses keep catching you off guard, this will help.

Most pet parents guess their way through food costs, vet visits, and emergencies.

You might feel:

  • unsure where your money is going

  • stressed when unexpected bills pop up

  • overwhelmed by scattered notes

  • afraid you’re not financially prepared for a pet emergency in the future

You don’t have to figure this out by yourself.

This is NOT a DIY Program.

This is not something you download and do on your own. In this early access program, I guide you in every phase and act as your accountability partner.

Each phase includes a 30-minute audio or video call (your choice), so you get:

  • guidance

  • support

  • clarity

  • accountability

No spreadsheets alone.
No trying to stay consistent by yourself.
No guesswork.

You’ll have someone walking with you step by step.

What You Get from the Program:

Designed to remove overwhelm, add clarity, and build confidence.

  • Four 30-minute calls (one per phase)

  • A simple pet budget template

  • Clarity exercises and worksheets

  • Routine-building support

  • A monthly check-in rhythm you can follow

  • Accountability between phases

  • Optional accountability calls monthly or quarterly (paid)

You won’t do this alone.

How the Program Works

Week 1: Start with the Basics
We meet for a call to map out your pets, essentials, and your starting point.
No pressure. Just clarity.

Week 2: Organize your Spending
Using existing Dear Pet Mom tools such as my Pet Budget Planner and Pet Expense Calculator, we bring your scattered numbers into one place.
You’ll have support and accountability so you don’t stall.

Week 3: Understand the Patterns
Together, we review what everything adds up to, what’s normal, and how to plan ahead. The goal is to come up with a draft for your 1-page Pet Budget Routine, the final deliverable for this program.

Week 4: Build your Simple Pet Budget Routine
We finalize your 1-page Pet Budget Routine and create a light monthly check-in rhythm you can stick to.

At the end of the program, you will:

  • Understand your monthly and annual pet expenses

  • Feel more prepared for emergency pet expenses.

  • Stick to a simple routine without pressure.

  • Be able to say “Spending for my pet feels calmer and easier.”

The goal is clarity + a routine you can maintain.

Why I Created This

I’m Patricia, founder of Dear Pet Mom and cat mom to three.

I’ve always been organized with my money, and I rely on simple systems to keep my own finances clear and predictable. From conversations with pet parents, I realized that most don’t have an easy way to understand their pet expenses, plan ahead, or feel prepared for the unexpected.

Since creating systems is what I do best, I used the same methods I use at home to build a straightforward way for pet parents to see the full picture and stay consistent.

That’s how the Pet Budget Made Simple program came to life.

A woman kneeling next to a multi-level cat tree with four cats, inside a sunlit room with glass doors and a view of a backyard with a lawn, wooden fence, and patio furniture with a closed umbrella.

Imagine This:

A woman with curly hair sitting at a table drinking from a teal cup, petting a Labrador puppy. There is a laptop in front of her, with sunlight coming through the window.

You check in on your pet expenses and it finally feels… simple.

You understand where your money is going
✔ Your routine feels easy to keep up with
✔ You feel more prepared for the unexpected

Just a clearer picture, a calmer mind, and a rhythm that fits naturally into your week.
