Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for purchasing from Dear Pet Mom. Please read our Return & Refund policy below.
Each printed Pet Mom planner or guide from the Desk Collection is printed on demand and carefully checked before shipping. Because of this, we do not accept returns for change of mind, preference, or minor variations in colour or texture.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If your planner arrives damaged, misprinted, defective, or the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@dearpetmom.com with:
Your order number
Photos showing the damage, defect or incorrect item
The original packaging (if available)
Once we verify the issue we will either:
Replace the item at no extra cost to you (we will cover return shipping), or
Issue a full refund to your original payment method
We will confirm which option applies before processing the resolution.
Note on minor shipping imperfections:
We do our best to ensure your planner arrives in perfect condition. However, due to the nature of printed products and standard mail handling, minor cosmetic imperfections such as slight corner bends, small scuffs, or pressure marks on the cover may occasionally occur. These do not affect the usability or durability of the planner and are not considered defects.
We only replace or refund items that arrive with significant damage or defects that impact use. For example, torn pages, major misprints, or binding issues.
If you ever receive a planner with damage that affects use, please reach out within 7 days and we’ll make it right!
Lost or Undelivered Orders
If your package does not arrive within the estimated delivery time:
Check your tracking information (sent via email after shipping).
Contact the carrier directly for updates.
If the parcel is confirmed lost (or undelivered within 30 days of the committed delivery date) email us so we can investigate.
After verification we will either resend the product or refund your order.
Returns & Exchanges (Non-Defective Goods)
Because each product is printed specifically for your order, returns and exchanges are not accepted unless the product is damaged, misprinted, defective or incorrect.
If a return is approved, we will provide a return shipping address. The planner must be unused and returned in its original condition within 14 days of approval; you will be responsible for packing it securely.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5-10 business days for the amount to appear on your statement after we confirm the refund.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order within 12 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet entered production or been shipped. After that window, cancellation is not possible.
Online Sales Contract Disclosure
In accordance with Alberta’s Internet Sales Contract Regulation:
We will provide you with a copy of the order confirmation (which constitutes the contract) in electronic form via email within 15 days of your purchase.
We clearly disclose the total price (including taxes and shipping) prior to purchase, our contact email, payment method, product description, delivery terms and our return/refund policy.
If we fail to meet these disclosure requirements, you may have a legal right to cancel the contract within 7 days after receiving your copy of the contract.
